WHAT IS PDR?

Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is an innovative dent repair process that restores dented vehicle body panels to their original factory condition. PDR is a non-invasive process that uses specially designed tools to gently manipulate and flex the panel back to its original form—without damaging the vehicle’s factory finish.

Your appraiser will help you determine if your repairs require PDR, conventional repairs or a combination of both. Experienced Nobilis Certified Fulfillment Technicians perform all PDR repairs and assist with any conventional repairs, so each repair is Quality Checked® and guaranteed against any future defects or reappearing dents.  See the PDR LINX Lifetime Repair Warranty below for details.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Am I responsible for any repair costs other than my deductible?

No. Even if the total repair cost is higher than the original appraisal, your deductible will be your only out-of-pocket expense.

How long does hail repair usually take?

On average, a vehicle that can be restored using only paintless dent repair (PDR) typically takes two to three days (subject to parts availability). Vehicles requiring additional conventional paint and body repairs may require more time.

Are all dents repairable through PDR?

Because paintless dent repair uses specially designed tools that work from behind a vehicle’s metal panels, select areas of your vehicle may not be repairable. Your appraiser will identify these areas for your repair technician.

What if I have damage not repairable by PDR?

If paintless dent repair is not available, depending on the type and areas damaged, conventional repairs may be necessary. Your appraiser and repair technician will be able to discuss alternative repair solutions with you.

How do I know if my vehicle needs repairs or replacements?

Your appraiser and repair technician will identify areas that need repairs or replacement depending on the type of damage and areas damaged. They will also provide alternative repair solutions for these repairs.

If covered by my insurance, how do I get a rental?

Contact your insurance adjuster after you’ve scheduled your repair to line up a rental vehicle.

Where can I have my vehicle repaired?

You may take your repair estimate to any repair facility of your choice. However, we highly recommend using a reputable paintless dent repair (PDR) provider that is approved by your insurance company, such as PDR LINX.

Do you warranty your repairs?

Yes! Our paintless dent repairs (PDR) are backed by a lifetime guarantee. That means we guarantee that the PDR performed on any vehicle is to the 100% satisfaction of the owner, and we warranty repairs to be free from re-appearance and paint chipping for the life of the car. This warranty covers all paint and metal repairs.

All mechanical parts or accessories installed during the repair will be covered under the normal manufacturer’s warranty.

We will not be responsible for rock chips, acid rain, bird droppings, abuse and neglect to finishes, hail and other acts of nature. Any additional future repairs or damage to the initial repair area, not repaired by PDR LINX, will void and cancel this warranty.

WHY CHOOSE PDR LINX?

We have nearly 30 years of experience restoring excellence to hail-damaged vehicles. Additionally, we’re recognized by all insurance carriers, and repairs are performed by fully insured hail technicians. We’ll coordinate your repair with your insurer, and all hail repairs come with a limited lifetime warranty.
